James Knight, Principal & Founder
James Knight is the Principal of Next Gen Political Strategies and is a rising star in the Canadian political scene. While just a senior in high school, James has cultivated a wealth of knowledge and experience in political campaign communications, management, strategy, and policy with experience running campaigns at all levels of the Canadian political system.
James works closely with Next Gen’s client candidates, to build modern and appealing political brands, and refine social/traditional media strategies to be accessible to Canadians of all ages. In doing so, he has helped candidates communicate their message to diverse groups of constituents.
Academically, James pursued a rigorous high school curriculum, earning a place in the Boston College Carroll School of Management class of 2029. James intends to pursue majors in both marketing and finance.
In James’ free time, he also serves as President of his school’s Model UN team, coaches youth soccer, and is a Director of North America’s largest youth-run Model UN conference. He also serves as Vice-President of the Conservative Party in North Vancouver.
In January of 2025, we has awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal in recognition of his commitment to growing youth participation in Canadian politics. The medal was given to Canadians who “have made a significant contribution to Canada or to a particular province, territory, region or community of Canada.”
